CV 

Works are progressing well at the CV apartments in East Hawthorn. Basement excavation, rock anchors and shot-crete walls are now complete to the bottom of B3 level, across the site. The $112 million project comprises 140 apartments over two towers, as well as an infinity pool, communal dining lounge, gymnasium, and retail tenancies.

Demolition is complete at Hidden Valley 

Demolition is complete at Hidden Valley Golf and Country Club in Wallan. Onsite works is expected to commence in six weeks. The project comprises redevelopment of the existing golf clubhouse with associated member’s facilities, including a resort day spa, indoor pool and gym, function and conference centre, kitchen, bar and an outdoor dining area.

Buxton Construction Staff Golf Day 

Buxton Construction recently spent an enjoyable day on the green at Peninsula Kingswood Golf Club in Dingley Village. The competition was played in teams, over eighteen holes.

The winners from the day were Stephen Baker, Glenn Stein and Rawdon Hume. In second place was Rob Marsh, James Thomas, Andrew Wright and Babu Akula and third place was awarded to John Adams, Sebastian Sosa and Andrew Tseros.

Special mentions go to Tim Edmonds for having the longest drive and Ben Cavell and John Adams for winning nearest to the pin.

Each year Buxton Construction have two positions available in the Graduate Program. The program runs over two years with graduates spending their first year in the estimating and cost planning departments and their second year onsite based on a project. New York style development for Richmond 

We are thrilled to be working with Blueprint Projects on the preliminary planning of a development in Swan Street, Richmond. The mixed-use development includes the demolition of an existing building and comprises a two-level basement, ground floor retail and 28 New York-style apartments over five levels. Relocation of high voltage power lines will also be required to enable the project to proceed.

North Fitzroy Library - completed  

The North Fitzroy Library is now complete. The impressive library and community centre incorporates a range of existing council services including playgroup areas, a maternal and child health centre, council customer service area, community meeting spaces and a commercial kitchen and rooftop garden. The three-level building has achieved a six-star Green Star rating which is the highest environmental rating awarded by the green Building Council of Australia.

Buxton Construction proudly supports Freemasons Victoria 

Buxton Construction are proud supporters of Freemasons Victoria, having recently sponsored their Grand Installation Event on 10th March. Buxton have a longstanding relationship with Freemasons Victoria having successfully completed the Freemasons Masonic Centre in Box Hill in 2014, and Buxton are currently completing the Bayside Masonic Centre in Gardenvale.

Buxton Construction supports St Kilda Football Club 

Buxton Construction is a proud supporter of St Kilda Football Club. Buxton has been working with St Kilda Football Club offering players the opportunity to widen their skillset in the construction industry, to help prepare them for life after football. We are currently working with Jake Carlisle, who is a pivotal member of the Buxton Construction team.

New project for Buxton - Peninsula Kingswood Golf Clubhouse  

We are thrilled to be undertaking the construction of the new Peninsula Kingswood Golf Clubhouse. This project comprises construction of a new 6,000m² golf clubhouse over 3 levels including function rooms, dining areas, bars, member’s facilities, a pro shop, buggy store, indoor swimming pool, health/wellness centre, gymnasium and onsite accommodation.
