100 Exhibition Steet, Melbourne
Originally an aging 9-storey office building, 100 Exhibition Street was converted in to 87, 4-star serviced apartments. The project included adding a 10th level, extending the façade by 1.5 metres to the footpath boundary and constructing five levels in an existing void on the northern side.
A retail outlet on the ground floor continued to operate throughout the entire construction period.
Extensive acoustic treatment was required to minimise the transmission of internal and external sound and up-to-the-minute communication technology was installed.
