An interior and exterior refurbishment of a 1970s, 15-storey brick veneer office building in the CBD including replacement of an existing load-bearing column on the ground floor to create a contemporary entrance foyer.
New ceilings were installed and fire, mechanical and electrical service upgraded throughout, lift lobbies were refurbished on all levels with fameless glass screens and doors to create a clean fresh appearance, and a range of granite and marble finishes was installed throughout the building.
Externally, the façade was replaced over 4 levels incorporating glass imported from overseas, stone and stainless steel cladding all designed to float out freely from the building structure with the large glass panels being curved to a radius not previously performed in Australia.
