Croydon Golf Clubhouse

Overlooking the new 27-hole golf course, the Yarra Ranges provides a unique back drop to the new clubhouse which includes a 2500 square-metre golfers’ forum incorporating locker rooms, pro-shop and spike bar supported by a fully equipped kitchen, members’ lounge with open fireplace, dining areas and multi-purpose function rooms.  Coffered ceilings are provided throughout to maximize internal ceiling heights and to define specific areas.

Designed primarily to provide facilities for members, the clubhouse doubles as a first-class function and conference venue for the wider Yarra Valley community.  Operable walls to the dining and function areas provide for flexibility of use.

The facility is designed to provide separate golfers areas consisting of pro-shop, locker rooms, bag store together with a basement buggy store.

The predominantly single level building has used cultural stone to external columns and around the internal fire places to blend the building into the surrounding vineyards so well known for the region.

Rainwater captured from the expansive roof is used for toilet flushing and irrigating landscaped areas around the clubhouse.
