Hume Global Learning Centre

Constructed of reinforced concrete, steel, glazing and pre-cast panels, the two-storey, 4,000 square-metre Hume Global Learning Centre was designed to accommodate additional levels if required in the future.

A landmark building with a distinctive architectural style, the multi-purpose building is accessible to the residents of the City of Hume and attracts a broad demographic from youth through to mature-age citizens.

An internal street within the building accommodates a wide range of exhibitions and community activities. The centre is a focal point for learning and training, and provides improved opportunities for local residents to enhance their skills.

The building’s northerly aspect ensures ample light penetration; maximising energy efficiency while extensive glazing enables passers by to observe activities taking place in all parts of the building.
