Lex Apartments
A multi-level, 56-apartment complex and 4 retail spaces, Lex Apartments has a heavy emphasis on technology and energy efficiency with much of the building having a 5-star rating.
Composite colorbond external panels with a polystyrene core provide additional insulation and double-glazing further reduces energy usage. Apartments on the building’s busy Mount Alexander Road perimeter are fitted with 10 mm laminated glass to minimise the transmission of road noise.
Buxtons assisted the client and design team during the design phase to ensure that the building was being designed to meet the client’s requirements including budget.
