Middle Brighton Baths
Buxton Construction worked closely with Heritage Victoria to ensure the integrity of the classified 1950s art-deco style brick veneer building and historic boardwalk of the baths was preserved.
The project included converting the existing downstairs area to an indoor/outdoor bistro-style café and construction of a first floor silver service restaurant with operable glass walls to allow the area to be divided in to function rooms of varying sizes.
Extensive site works incorporating car parking and landscaping in the baths precinct were carried out to provide improved facilities and create an attractive environment to complement the refurbished landmark.
