A design and construct contract, Stage 1 of Moonah Links Residential Lodges consists of seven small buildings incorporating 48 apartments 60 keys of either two or three levels to fit IN with the topography of the undulating Mornington Peninsula golfing precinct.
Retention and protection of the native Moonah trees – which the course was named after – was a key factor in the location of each building on the site while the pre-construction earthworks program involved extensive consultation with the local Bunnerong Aboriginal community.
The golf course feel is accentuated by an internal courtyard with areas of turf representing the greens and fairways together with plantings of indigenous grasses to create the appearance of the rough.
