Armada Apartments

A complex construction task due to limited access to the site, the six-storey residential complex comprises a basement car park with storage areas, two apartments and additional car parking on the ground floor, and 40 one and two-bedroom apartments over the remaining five levels. A central lift and lobby services all levels.

The pre-cast concrete structure features a diaphragm wall in the basement because of the building's seaside location and a facade clad with a combination of Alucobond and Kalslip composite panels, and broad expanses of glazing.

Armada Apartments includes a number of ESD principles: solar panels, double-glazing elements, bicycle spaces and two rainwater harvesting tanks concealed under the basement ramp.
