St Kilda Football Club Development

The new home of the St Kilda Saints Football Club comprises a 3500m2 single level building located in Belvedere Park Seaford.

The new building designed by Peddle Thorp Architects is practical and yet still has the architectural flair for which Peddle Thorp are renowned.

The simple form of the building is created by the use of a structural steel frame on concrete ground slabs, precast wall panels, aluminium sandwich panels and the extensive use of glazing.

The facility consists of community sports hall, gymnasium, recovery pool, ice baths, spas, change and locker rooms, lecture theatre, medical and fitness staff facilities and the required offices for the football department.

The club’s colours are extensively displayed on a feature screen fence which wraps around the building separating the facility from the car park with extensive landscaping which links the building with the natural environment of the surrounding area.
